Ms. Roosa Hakkarainen

Roosa Hakkarainen is a Senior Communications Officer at Aqua for All.

Roosa has more than eight years of international experience in strategic marketing communications across NGOs, consultancies and EU-funded projects in the Netherlands, Finland and the United States.

She has built multi-channel communications campaigns, led brand refreshes and developed content that helps organisations explain complex sustainability and social impact topics in a clear and engaging way. Her work has focused on sustainability, climate and human rights, connecting with audiences ranging from businesses and policymakers to partners and the public.

Roosa holds a Research Master’s Degree in Communication Science from the University of Amsterdam, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Turku, Finland, with additional studies completed at the University of Vienna, Austria. In her free time, she enjoys practising yoga, spending time in nature and travelling.
